Top 3 Kindergarten Online Games

We all want to give our little ones the best start in life and engaging them with exciting learning tools that help get a good grasp on the basics is a “funtastic” way to do it. Learning naturally through play and games has proven itself as the best method and young minds being especially inquisitive and spongy soak up the most from this style.

With the dawn of the digital age we are seeing more and more apps, online games and learning tools being offered on our computers and phones, sifting through them all and finding the one that will get your kids excited about learning can be a grueling task. What works for one may not appeal so much to another and so knowing your child is key, what gets them interested and what will keep them coming back for more. What we have done on this list is to compile some of our personal favorite online kindergarten games that package together fun, incentive and learning.

1. PBS Kids

Sesame Street for me was my babysitter, teacher, friend, and moral compass. I was brought up with Bert, Ernie and Big Bird and it taught me a lot about the world and how I view it. Alongside the colorful characters, beautiful music and companionship there is also a lot of learning subtly and not so subtly sprinkled throughout the show, so it should it come as no surprise that PBS Kids should be an online home for learning too. The website features characters from across their hit shows in videos and games that provide your kids with a fun place to play and learn. In order to incentivize the children, there are rewards and pictures that they can earn by performing well.

2. Mathlingo

Mathlingo may be quite new to the kindergarten online game domain but it’s already making big waves. Whilst other sites and games focus on an array of skills, Mathlingo focuses in on the numerical side of things and in doing so can really help equip your child to perform to their very best. Just because it’s Math focused though doesn’t mean it doesn’t also help build on other skills, there are many word puzzles, logic and reasoning based activities within the games that mean time invested will help broaden your child’s mind in many different ways. Featuring a bright, inviting and very intuitive interface your child will get lost in the rich and exciting games they provide and advance their mathematical skills whilst doing so. Can you say that’s “mathematicool”?

To know more information about the Mathlingo app by Mafooly, check them out in the App store or the Play store.

3. Treehouse

Treehouse is another treasure chest of kindergarten online games that introduce your children to new friends and then provides fun games for them to play together and learn. Through video and play your child will be constantly engaged and excited as they work towards improving their skills and earning rewards. The games range in difficulty and can also be printed off to work on in their free time away from computer screens.
