One of my favorite PBS Kids programs is Math with Mom. It’s an educational game show for kids ages five to eight. The show features two teams of kids who compete to solve problems, and the host, a puppeteer named Heidi, helps them learn their math. For example, one game features “shape” problems. The kids are shown images of different shapes and describe them. They’ll have to determine the number of sides a shape has, and if it’s a square, how many corners it has. If you love numbers and learning, this show is a great find!
